Calculate the cost of your project
Use the calculator to get an estimate for your project
Capacity is based on hours per day, days per week, weeks per sprint.
Whether you’re thinking about engaging a development or scoping team to build out your application or supplement your existing project team, we understand the value of gaining an insight into how much you might need to budget for that work. To help with your planning we’ve created this powerful and simple Project Estimator tool and we encourage you to experiment with team structures and timeframes to see what’s possible within your budget.
Before any code is written it is vital that you undertake a scoping exercise to flesh out the functionality that will be built into your application. It doesn’t matter if you’re building a brand new application or refactoring or extending an existing one, scoping is the foundation of the development and no coding work should happen until this has been done. To learn more about the importance of scoping check out our blog article: Why is scoping so important?.
Support and Operations
In all the excitement of planning and building a new application or extending an existing one, it can be easy to overlook the ongoing operational costs of supporting, hosting and maintaining your application. We believe in absolute transparency when it comes to the total cost of software development and ownership and have included an industry recommended 20-25% on top of the scoping and development costs to give you a realistic overall project estimate.
This project Estimator tool is based on our standard rate card and is designed to give you an idea of what we might charge to build, refactor or extend your application or supplement your existing internal development team. It is not an industry standard and costs will vary from company to company. We’ve tried to be as flexible as possible with the estimator tool but naturally there are limitations and scenarios we simply can’t predict. If you’d like to have an informal discussion about how we might be able to support your project please contact us here:
