Project Manager
The role of a Project Manager at PT Geekseat Indonesia is to facilitate delivery of the client’s agreed expectations.

 

Manage the team leaders and team members to ensure:

  • Client expectations are understood and clearly documented
  • Project work is accurately estimated in time, resources and nature of delivery
  • Appropriate team members are engaged and utilised
  • Team members are managed to ensure delivery
  • Client and management approval is obtained for any new or change in delivery specifications
  • Appropriate methodology, infrastructure, architecture and design is selected
  • A documented cost benefit analysis to all proposals and alternatives is provided
  • Client deliverables and deadlines are adhered to
  • Ongoing progress reports are provided to clients (and management) including progress compared to scheduled delivery for time, deliverables, and resource utilisation
  • Managing team leaders and team members to ensure that they have the appropriate information, skills and resources to complete the tasks assigned to them
  • Projects are delivered within budget
  • Approve staff timesheets for weekly delivery to the client in a timely fashion (by Monday for the prior week)
  • Daily, weekly and monthly activity reports are received from all subordinates
  • Mentor and lead team leaders and team members
  • Work with the Recruitment staff to engage new team members on projects
  • Approve or disapprove any leave for staff with consideration for project requirements and deadlines
  • Report to management on the progress of projects on an agreed schedule
  • Assist management in effective cost management
  • Assist management with regards to individual performance progress report for all subordinates
Requirements:
  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers and management or business adm for non-technical project managers.
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (for technical project managers)
  • Having experiences as an IT Business Analyst (for non-technical project managers)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English)
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Experienced in Agile Methodologies
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus point
