We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst, preferably with a strong software development background, and a minimum of 7 years’ experience as an analyst to join our Australian team.  You work closely with our clients and our delivery team to provide business solutions through software.  You will work closely with the client to understand their business, their existing software products and their requirements, and alongside the Project Co-ordinator, liaise with our development team to ensure all the client’s requirements are met.


Roles And Responsibilities


  • Assist customers in clarifying requirements by reviewing business needs for software applications and customisations
  • Understand client’s requirements from the perspective of integration with third party products
  • Design data migrations and map out the data relationships for clients moving from one software product to another
  • Research and analysis of existing applications, system data, business processes and constraints.
  • Assist in the development of recommendations and support the procurement/development and implementation of system/technological solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Assists in developing test plans and scripts of moderate complexity to validate that system functionality meets business requirements. Executes test scripts based on the test plan.
  • Documents and communicates test results. Supports compliance standards for testing, approvals, migration and implementation.
  • Write and prepare technical and business documents for development team. This will include converting business requirements to systematic processes with examples for non-business people to understand.
  • Coordinate with users and technical staff to develop recommendations for modifications and enhancements to the application
  • Provide UAT support to the users during UAT
  • Conduct change impact analysis on customers’ requests in a change management lifecycle




  • Exposure to a variety of business analysis techniques and ability to apply the most effective technique to a given scenario
  • Experience gathering feedback and engaging with stakeholder groups (i.e. workshop facilitation, stakeholder interviews etc.)
  • Demonstrated experienced at complex process mapping
  • Have experience handle project or working in Recruitment Industry in an advantage
  • Have technical knowledge of database query scripting (SQL) and API Integration. .NET knowledge is added advantage.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in both Agile and Waterfall approaches in SDLC
  • Familiar with Azure Devops / JIRA will be an advantage

  • Experience in online application development project and electronic forms

  • You understand deadlines and how the exceptional execution impacts on the client’s business
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering (or similar)

The successful candidate will be working with internal resources from Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia.  At times there may be the need to visit project sites throughout Australia, therefore you will need to be flexible with their working hours and available for early evening meetings during the week as required.
